Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of OpenThrottle by RevLane. By signing in or paying for a subscription you agree to them.

The service

OpenThrottle is a SaaS tool that helps motorcycle and powersports service shops follow up on declined repair work via SMS. We provide the software, a Twilio number for your shop, dashboards, and reporting.

Trial

Every new shop gets a 30-day free trial. No card is required to start and there is no setup fee. If you do not activate a paid subscription before the trial ends, your account is paused until you do.

Billing

• Subscriptions bill monthly in advance.
• The amount is whatever your shop and RevLane agree on at activation. There is no setup fee.
• Auto-pay is on by default; you can switch to manual invoicing from the Billing page.
• Failed payments grant a 5-day grace period before access is restricted.

Cancellation

• You can cancel any time from the Billing page or by emailing us.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
• We do not refund the current month after cancellation.

Acceptable use

OpenThrottle texts your customers on your behalf. By using the service you confirm:

• You have a prior business relationship with each customer you load into the system.
• You will respect TCPA, CAN-SPAM, CASL, and any other local message-marketing laws that apply to your shop.
• You will honor STOP / opt-out requests immediately. The system enforces this for you, but you should not work around it.
• You will not use OpenThrottle to message anyone outside the context of declined service work.

Customer data

You retain ownership of customer data you enter. We process it on your behalf to deliver the service, per the Privacy Policy. We never sell it.

Liability

OpenThrottle is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RevLane is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the trailing 12 months.

Changes

If we materially change these terms we will notify you by email at the address on file before the change takes effect.
