Privacy Policy

RevLane operates OpenThrottle, a service-follow-up tool for motorcycle and powersports shops. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how it is shared with the third parties that help us run the service.
What we collect
- Shop and account data: shop name, address, business phone, business email, your name and login email, your role.
- Repair-order data you enter: customer name, phone, email, vehicle details, declined service items, status notes.
- Messaging data: outbound and inbound text content tied to a repair order, sender and recipient phone numbers, delivery status from Twilio.
- Billing data: Stripe customer and subscription IDs, invoice records, last four digits of the card on file (we do not store full card numbers — Stripe holds those).
- Usage data: pages visited, actions taken, error logs, basic device info.
How we use it
- To operate the service: send follow-up texts, route inbound replies, render dashboards, and bill the right amount.
- To support you when you contact us, and to investigate issues.
- To improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns.
Third-party processors
We use a small set of vendors to run the service. Each is bound by their own privacy commitments.
- Stripe — billing, payment method storage, invoices.
- Twilio — outbound and inbound SMS to your customers.
- Resend — transactional email (receipts, invitations, alerts).
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not share your customer list with anyone outside the processors above.
- We do not message your customers from any number other than the one provisioned for your shop.
Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. After cancellation we keep records needed for tax and legal compliance and otherwise delete on request.
Your rights
You can request a copy or deletion of your data at any time by emailing us. Customers in California, the EU, and similar jurisdictions have additional rights under their local laws and we will honor them.
